
The Vice Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU), Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, led the inauguration of the newly built, state-of-the-art, self-owned CBT Centre on Monday, 17th March 2025.

The new 350-seat Computer-Based Test (CBT) Centre is located on the ground floor of the newly constructed LASU Central Library on the main campus in Ojo.
The facility is equipped with strong Internet connections, laptops, and a redundant server room. It also provides the University with the means to address the previous challenges encountered by students while using rented facilities for their examinations.

The Vice Chancellor, together with the University’s Management Team, was present at the Centre to inspect the environment and the facilities ahead of its use for the ongoing first-semester examination.
Alongside the Director of the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (DICT), Prof. Toyin Enikuomehin, the team also inspected the holding bay, where students would wait before commencing their exams.
