During the session, Honourable members of the House nominated candidates for Independent Electoral Committee ( IEC ), Independent Petition Committee ( IPC ) and Independent Audit Committee ( IAC ). After a 20 minutes recess the speaker announced the appointed functionary members and officially ratified their position with the gavel.
Kehinde Nurudeen Babatunde from the Faculty of Art was appointed as the Chairman of IEC, with kasim Abdullah from School of Transport as the Secretary. Other functionaries include, Machado Dolapo (Faculty of Social Sciences) as Welfare, Atobite Esther (Faculty of Management Science) as the Information Officer, Idowu Demilade (School of Transport) as Finance Officer and Olowu Muslimah (Faculty of Education) as the Returning Officer.
