LSUDS IS SET TO HOST THE SEVENTH EDITION OF “LISTEN: ZENITH” TOMORROW

The LASU Debate Society will hold the seventh edition of its flagship event, LISTEN, on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at the Buba Marwa Auditorium, starting at 9:00 AM.

Themed ZENITH, this edition will feature a lineup of speakers from diverse sectors, including media, finance, religion, entertainment, and public leadership.

Each speaker is expected to share personal accounts of their journey, challenges, and key turning points in their respective fields in view of inspiring the audience to be better versions of themselves Confirmed speakers for LISTEN VII include:

Dr. Morayo Afolabi Brown, television broadcaster and media executive

Juliana Olayode, actress and author

Eric Gugua, Content creator

Sola Adesakin, finance expert and business strategist

Dr. Aminat Olawunmi Ige, academic and researcher

Okafor, youth development advocate

Adeseni Ilemobade, legal practitioner and leadership trainer

Frank Ikemefume, branding consultant and content creator

Marvis Orji, spiritual leader and community mentor

In an interview with the chairperson of the organizing committee, Adewunmi Osonoiki sit was hinted that attendees should “look out for something different” during this year’s edition. No further details were given, but the comment suggests that the program may feature a new or unexpected element.

LISTEN VII is open to all students and invited guests.
